About UKXC

We bring together public, professional facts about British middle- and long-distance runners and cross-country athletes — nation, year of birth, events, championships contested and medals — alongside the UK road, cross-country and fell races that have a record of past winners.

There are no news stories or race reports here: only reference pages, tables and lists you can search and compare.

All data comes from Wikidata under the CC0 licence. We do not use parkrun’s event list: parkrun restricts the reuse of its data, so parkrun events are not catalogued here beyond what is openly recorded on Wikidata.

Athlete pages contain sporting facts only. If you spot a mistake or an omission, write to us and we will correct it at the open source.

The track and club directory comes from business listings compiled from public map and web sources, checked October 2026: address, town, website and opening hours. Gyms, personal trainers and shops are left out. Council areas and nations come from the ONS Postcode Directory (Open Government Licence).
